Hi, I'm Captain Todd Haleen, owner of First Choice Charters. I was born and raised in Bailey's Harbor as a second generation charter captain with over 25 years charter fishing experience. I have a 100 ton master's license issued by the U.S. Coast Guard along with a marine assistance towing license.

Here at First Choice Charters we have an exceptional lineup of captains and first mates. They include: Todd Haleen, Jeff Haleen (Ahab), Bill Nyman, Phil Kinjersky, Brett Anschutz and Neil Dunkle. Being able to rotate out the crew allows us to stay fresh and focused during a grueling season of early mornings, mid days, and evening fishing trips. This dedicated team of experts puts in a combined 1000 hours of Salmon fishing in a single season.

All information obtained while fishing (hot lure colors, speed, location, etc.) is passed on to the fresh crew, giving you the best possible chances of having a successful trip. You won't have crew members falling asleep on board this operation, I guarantee it! This group is the definition of the word team. Our goal on each trip is to give those on board the absolute best fishing experience ever. The first mate and your captain will be there to assist you in any way possible.
